Indonesia’s nationwide COVID-19 vaccination program commenced on Wednesday morning, when the President became the first to receive his first jab of Sinovac’s CoronaVac vaccine. The country’s vaccine coverage target is to inoculate 67 percent of the population in stages over the next 15 months, a timeline health experts have deemed “overly ambitious”.
