Bukit Algoritma, or Algorithm Hill, the Indonesian counterpart to the United States’ Silicon Valley, is to be developed in a joint operation between the companies of politician Budiman Sudjatmiko and businessman Dhanny Handoko. The project has reportedly received an investment of Rp 18 trillion (US$1.23 billion) for its first phase of development, estimated to take three years.
