Ganjar deserves VP slot if Prabowo runs in 2024: Hashim
Deputy chairman of Gerindra's Advisory Board, Hashim Djojohadikusumo, who is also the younger brother of Prabowo, said on Sunday that given Prabowo's age and experience it's only natural for the Gerindra chairman to be at the top of the ticket.

A senior politician from the Gerindra Party said over the weekend that Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo should get a vice-presidential slot in the event the party chairman Prabowo Subianto decides to run in the 2024 presidential election.
Deputy chairman of Gerindra's Advisory Board, Hashim Djojohadikusumo, who is also the younger brother of Prabowo, said on Sunday that given Prabowo's age and experience it was only natural for the Gerindra chairman to be at the top of the ticket.
"We're open to Pak Ganjar joining the ticket with one condition that Pak Prabowo is the presidential candidate. It's impossible for Pak Prabowo not to be the presidential candidate," Hashim told reporters after an event for Prabowo's volunteers in Central Jakarta.
Hashim said that Prabowo's seniority should be the primary consideration in nominating him for the presidency.
"So whoever wants to join the ticket, Pak Prabowo should be the presidential candidate," he said.
The talk over pairing Prabowo with Ganjar intensified after the two politicians joined President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo on a trip to Central Java last week, where the three figures shared the spotlight during a rice-harvesting event.
Late last year, Jokowi said that 2024 could be Prabowo's time to become president.
