ogor Cathedral in West Java is exhibiting a series of nativity displays from Dec. 23, 2022 to Jan. 8, 2023 at the former site of Stella Maris Seminary.

Bogor Bishop Paskalis Bruno Syukur said the nativity displays were a new way to spread good tidings.

“These mangers are like works of art. We hope to express faith through art,” Paskalis said at the exhibition opening on Friday.

Open to the public at 5-9 p.m. every day, the exhibit consists of a total of 155 mangers made by Bogor’s parishioners, church communities and Catholic students.

“This is the Christmas message I would like to convey, that we all, as Indonesians, become people who bring good tidings,” said Paskalis. (dre)
